Q. What is NOTOCON?
A. NOTOCON is the National Ordo Templi Orientis Conference. This is a very special event held every other year for Ordo Templi Orientis members in good standing only (Minerval degree and above). The National O.T.O. Conference provides many great opportunities to meet and network with Brothers and Sisters from our Order from around the world.

Q. Who can attend?
A. NOTOCON attendance is open to all active initiate members in good standing of OTO. All attendees must pre-register for NOTOCON. "Walk up" registration at the event site will not be available. The deadline for registration is June 30, 2007ev.

Q. How much does it cost?
A. Attendence is $175 plus $25 for the optional Friday event.

Q. What can I expect to happen while I’m there?
A. There will be presentations by luminaries of the O.T.O community, a formal banquet, a Mass for initiate members of III° and above, a Mass for everyone, and time for fellowship and fraternity. A vendor room will also be available Friday through Sunday.

Q. Is there a vegetarian choice for the banquet meal?
A. Yes. When you register, you will be asked to select either poultry, beef, vegetarian, or vegan.

Q. What is the dress code for the banquet?
A. This is traditionally a formal attire event, but a suit or cocktail dress is certainly fine as well. Generally there is a diverse array of Thelemic finery. In keeping with the theme of Beauty and Strength, anything from Elizabethan gowns to Roman Togas would be appropriate. Have fun with it.

Q. Can my spouse attend? What about my kids?
A. Significant others are allowed to attend in special instances only. If you are an initiate of III° or above, you may submit the name of your significant other to onsite@notocon.org. Pending the discretion and approval by the Supreme and Holy King, your partner will be allowed to attend and be required to pay the full registration fee. This is an adult only conference.

Q. Are there childcare options with other parents?
A. The Onsite Coordinator is happy to consider providing a room for parents to take turns watching all of the children, if there is enough interest. There would be a fee split between the adults to cover the room. Contact onsite@notocon.org if you are interested in this option. If this is not feasible, there are day care facilities in Salem, near the hotels, which can be contacted by the parents themselves. Contact the above email for a list.

Q. How long does Notocon last and what is the schedule?
A. Notocon lasts 3 days. See Schedule for schedule details.
